Hi all. Just wondering whether anybody can help me out with my problem..
I'm currently running an i7 940 on a gigabyte ex58-ud4p.
When i increase the base clock to anything higher than 155, the system won't be able to resume from SLEEP.
At bclk 155 and below: No issues.
At bclk 156 and above: Unable to resume from sleep. No BSODs, no errors in prime95 or such, nothing. EVERYTHING else is alright, just unable to resume from sleep. Fans, lights and leds all come on, but screen stays black. Keyboard and mouse stay dead too.
I've tried lowering the cpu multi, lowering the ram multi and increasing/lowering vcore, qpi, dram voltages. The only thing that works is setting the bclk to 155 or lower. It isn't an OS or software issue as i've tested on a seperate hdd running vista, with the same results.
Anybody got any ideas?
