Suntec city Pets Village - VRForums - SITEX 2009

Bought a rabbit from pets village at suntec city, they claim that was a pure breed of holland lop when i bought it on 15 MAR 09, price was $3XX.
but his ears doesn't lop down as it would have been, was told by the shop keeper there that need to wait for the rabbits to be mature 6 mths b4 their ears would lop down so i was ok if thats the case maybe i would jus wait.
but recently bought my rabbit to the pet shop at leisure park at level 2, was told that my rabbit wasnt a pure breed of holland lop as the face feature is different, said that mine was mixed breed. so i went back to pets village wanting a confirmation about this.

upon asking they claim that it was a pure breed of holland lop, but asked why the ears doesnt lop down and the face looked so different from a pure breed then they gave alot of excuses saying that it was breed with a different kind of lop but they are unsure of wat breed was that, claiming that it was breed with a different lop rabbit so he said that it was still a pure holland lop and even said that the ears maybe need 4 years for it to lop down. i was like WTF and he even has the cheeck to tell me to take a paper clip to clip onto the ears of the rabbit if i wan her ears to lop down, was so furious with the attitude of the boss there. (short guy) 1stly told me that it was a pure holland lop breed charging $3XX for it and now ask him abt identity told me so much bullshit. And he even keep pushing products that wasnt even suitable for the pets.

So in this case am i being cheated? what can i do now? I love my rabbit too much haha

complain to ava, How can they tell u to put paper clip to clip the ears of the rabbit!?

It is true that for some lops u need to wait till 6 months for their ears to lop down. but no longer than that. If its a cross, its a cross. I always find their animals very much over priced. But if u really love ur rabbit.. kena cheat also can't help alraedy.. take good care of ur rabbit even though its a nt a pure breed..

That's extremely cute man! If you love it then I guess all you can do is seek some form of compensation..

going by the way how the shopkeeper does buisness i guess its very hard for me to just go down and seek compensation, as a cross breed would just cost less then a $100?
he have 10001 excuses, the way they handle my rabbit when i bought it down for nail trimming was also terrible. they were so rough with my pet!

i guess i have to wait for another few mths to see if my rabbit ears will lop if not will make another trip down to complain and seek compensation haha but i dun wanna give my rabbit back if they were to ask for.. T.T

meanwhile boycotting pets village for now the 1 at leisure park was totally and so much different and better in attitude, at least my pet feel better there haha

we call that helicopter ears.. if by 6 month the other ear doesn't come down. Then it'll remain lidat for the rest of the rabbit's life..

yeah it's one cute bunny. i've always gone to the suntec pets village to get my hamster shavings.

i too agree with TS to certain extend that their service isn't as good as before. Used to have more friendier and helpful staff.

So if you keepin the rabbit, everyday muz psycho the rabbit..

sad case haha but my bunbun is still cute.. =P
wait till 6mths sure go back suntec to kp them again. haha

HAHAHAH!! well said. But i don't understand why buy hamster beddings from them, super ex de lor.. I rather take bus go sgn north buy or just order online//

they got the "walnut" type of bedding which i feel is rather good but the pricing went up plus now all bigger packs

that shop had one staff which was very nice and polite, spectacled guy, abit big size/tall. He's the one who suggested i get their "walnut" bedding. Ever since, I've never used other types except mixing some wood shavings with the walnut type.
