IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT TO ALL OWNERS OF GERMAN SHEPHERDS, DOBERMANS, ROTTWEILERS ETC...!!!

By now, many of you would have received the letter from the AVA regarding the Proposed Measures To Tighten Control Of Potentially Dangerous Dogs.

As the German Shepherd Dog (GSD) is one of the breeds affected by these proposed regulations, the German Shepherd Dog Club of Singapore (GSDC) must take a keen interest in this matter.

The GSDC is therefore proposing a meeting with all GSDC members and other GSD / working breed owners to obtain their views and feedback on these proposed regulations. The purpose of the meeting will be to facilitate a constructive discussion to gather feedback that can be passed on to the AVA on a consolidated basis. It is hoped that a balance can be struck to ensure the safety of the public while at the same time, not being overly restrictive to owners of GSDs and other working breed of dogs.

The meeting will be held as follows:
