I came across sales.sold.sg, they sell new items at a cheaper price. Bought their lifeproof case, good deal and service. Now they have Sigma lens on at 50% off, so tempted.....

after i got that.. and years of more experience... i'll slowly in the proccess buy FX lens.. like those 24-70mm or the 70-200mm.... damn... i think i'll get those primes first........

then once i have enough FX lens.. i can move on to FX body without any problems...

and of course.. i've to get some filters for those lens too... damn...

still can't decide whether to can CPL filters or some Protective UV filters sial..... !!! all cost me $60> $100< haisss
well, why not just get a used D700?

if you want a bridge camera, you may want to consider the Panasonic FZ200 camera. It has a constant f2.8 aperture throughout its 24x zoom range ((28 - 672mm)

I'm currently using a Fuji S200EXR (predecessor to the HS50EXR). Even to date, I find that its still image capabilities are very relevant compared to the new cameras released onto the market.

It's a great bridge cam for learning things (esp. the limitations of your equipment and shooting WITH the limitations, not just your basic handling technique). So, do take your time getting familiar and learning with it.

Note that from the design of the camera itself, it means that you've got to move on to interchangeable lens system (incl. SLR and M43) later in the future. There really shouldn't be any excuse for you to flit from one bridging cam to the next if you are serious about learning.

I won't really recommend those bridge cameras with digitally controlled zooms (i.e. the ones with rocker switches) as they won't offer you much in terms of getting to grips with still photography. Those are great for videos, though!
