Okay, how to start? Here is my first published project log for home server, currently named minioOo.


The Components: (as of 24-02-2007)
VIA EPIA M10000 mini-itx board
Kinston 512MB DDR266
Seagate Momentus 5400.3 120G HDD
DC-DC picoPSU 120W (from LordAlfa)
AC-DC 12V 5A (60W) PSU (from continental elec at SLT base 1)
As per my calculation, with only 1 HDD installed, the server should not consume more than 35W under load. A PSU rated 60W is more than sufficient.

Everything starts from planning and sketching first

Years ago from www.cbluewave.com at ubi if i'm not wrong. about S$300.

Quite satisfied with the progress this weekend

Finished back panel, I'm going to buy some brasso and polish it.
