Acrylic parts for mods Plixos Sep 2nd, 11, 12:38 AM #7

Hi,

DAMA is the biggest and best priced supplier of standard acrylic in Singapore, so it's a good choice if you are looking for full sheets.
I know quite well since they are one of our key supplier for acrylic sheets.

They also provide cut to size and cut to shape services, but at high price since this is not their focus.

If you are looking for best price in town and best services for cut to shape and engrave acrylic, I would recommend you pay us a visit, adn we hare located near Bugis/MRT Lavender so more convenient then UBI ;-)

Some of our differences:
Laser cutting:
- more power, 150W, allowing faster cut and deeper engraving
- large working area, 1300mm x 900mm, for bigger parts
- probably the cheapest in Singapore
- computer afficionados [at least for me hehe]

We can cut acrylic, MDF, wood, fiberglass, rubber, leather
We can engrave acrylic, anodized aluminium, powder coated metals, and some plastics

Acrylic:
In addition to standard acrylic, we also have mirror acrylic with a wide range of colours. Could be interesting for some of your designs.

Large format printing on vinyl sticker
Using clear sticker, can be used for extra effects by pasting it on clear or reflective surface.

Eager to see you.

Someone taught me a simple trick of running your pen knife blade along the edge and scraping down to a smooth edge. I find yhe effect is better if u sand down the edge first with fine sandpaper first before scraping it. My colleague suggested using his flaming machine but i wasnt so adventurous and needed to finish job fast so no time to try.

Oh yes make sure your pen knife blade is sharp and pls be careful.
