whoa whoa.. one question at a time bro! i updated because there were some new parts that came in and had a huge issue with the gpu cooling. the last build (raistlin - cosmos), was ok. it worked. but the gpu temps were too much, running 3dmark06 would make the system shutdown because of gpus overheating. there were several factors identified on the cause of this. and to the last question, yes. haha!
what's with the gpu temps? are you saying ek wb sux?
my 3 gtx280s were watercooled using ek fc280gtx copper waterblocks. that time i used ceramique as advised in the instruction manual of the wb and followed the instruction to put and tighten all screws onto the gpu/wb. however, as eddy (of ek) has publicly admitted (in xs) that there were issues with the waterblocks and asked affected customers to contact him. and i did drop him an email. he then sent me replacements for the copper plates. and NO, they do not 'sux'... they are awesome. there was a question in xs, 'why do people still support ek (despite the fx280 issue)?' because i still believe that ek gives quality products. now for this revision, i'll be using the new version of ek wb and mx2.
cosmos-s is too cramped meh? haha. yes, if you want to put all the wc stuff inside it. and trisli and those huge pumps.
they can all fit, but those 1/2"ID 3/4"OD tubes look like large intestines waiting to be disemboweled. (interrupts)so why buy it in the first place? well, i wasn't thinking of wc before. the cosmos-s is conducive to wc with minimal wc stuff/smaller components and really spacious for ac. but with the silverstone tj-awesome-07... you can't go wrong.
