INTRO
Decided it was time for a overhaul for my gaming system as it has been more then a year since did any major modding to it. But more importantly, the wc loop was untouched for the entire time, and what has become of it now is rather unsightly. Plasticising of the tubes which lead to cloudyness and discolouration of the coolent.

Why name it as Project Supernova?
Well, the 1st idea i had was an orange themed rig, hence the 1st name, TheOrangeBox. However, i then redecided to stick to a red and black theme. Hence, R.V.Amped. But in the end, i combined the 2 themes (Red/Orange/Black) and added a last element, Chrome to give it some spice . Hence the name Supernova (Stellar explosion of a star).

System Hardware
Im just sticking to my current hardware i have atm as i still feel its not the time to move on just yet. Maybe closer towards the mid/end of this year. I also dont intend to sell away the equipment as i will most probably reuse them in my lanparty rig (which will be alot more portable) once i get some new hardware.

Ahhh.... BP goodness...

But sadly.. was pretty disappointed...

The cover seemed ok though,

But the housing was pretty bad. Not sure what happened exactly.. but was pretty disappointed with the item. Came straight from BP so this kind of QC was pretty surprising, never had this oxidation with any of BP's other stuff. So hopefully it doesn happen again. so anyway down to fixing it. I do not have the mood to send the item back for a replacement if it can be fixed.

The base was a delightful surprise though. I didn expect it to be this good. I think maybe all the 3 items were made from different locations or what, so all 3's QC was very different, and im not just refering to the oxidation. The nickle plating quality was very different also... they missed some spots on the housing and the cover while the base i can say, was perfect.

come with a silicon vibration damper pad as well...

Looks pretty slick ... All that needs to be done now is to sleeve the pump power cable...

BP ARMY!...
Click the image to open in full size.

Actually, i realised that i do not need that many connectors for a single rig only after they arrived... Lol..
But no matter, they will still be put to good use in other rigs...
