ok guys, for those of you who were following my other project aka project supernova, and are wondering why it hasnt been updated for quite awhile...

This is the reason..
anyway its basically a revamp of my workstation rig aka silent ice. Nothing new hardware wise. Just a few new waterblocks and coolent thats all. But alot of what has gone in here is a test bed for my other project, project supernova.

ok, not too much chit chat, ill let the pictures do the talking...

Specs: (same as before, duh)
xeon 3040, 1.83ghz (E6300) @ 3.4ghz, stock vcore
2x1gb 667 kingston value rams @ 972mhz 5-5-5-15 2.2v
XFX 7800gt (gonna change the stock cooler as its too noisy)
gigabyte P965-DQ6
SB Audigy 2ZS
raptor 74gb
Seagate 250gb

WC:
DIY waterblock
EK NB/SB5 (NB)
Swiftech mcw30 (SB)
mcp655
XSPC passive cooled res
MCR320
Feser1 UV Blue
Primoflex tubings (cleaned and reused from original loop)
3x120 scythe fans (white)
3x120 Lianli OEM fans (white)

Hooted some new blocks.. EK NB/SB4 + 5, sadly the sb 4 didn fit and i couldn diy a bracket due to the design of the block. it just wouldn sit properly w/o smashing into any other component.


EK NB/SB 5 with some minor mods...



replaced with stainless steel screws that wont rust.








Diy backplate mounting. very easy to make, drill and retap M4 holes into the stock m3 ones instead. cheap and effective.





Quite alot of sleeving done, though i didn take a shot of all...






Why the above connector is sleeved so weird?... cause i ran out of sleeving halfway... -.-

@kozato: the HS i was talking about is used on the the individual 4mm sleeves on the 4 pin molex extension.. the normal one is the 6mm HS..

(oh yeah, y i chose to use these lian li fans?... because they were good. Rivaled 1200-1600 rpm led yate loon fans)

im gonna change that gfx cooler, its noisy and unsightly ( well at least for me ) a hr03 might look really good on that...

edit: i used up my supernova 24pin connector for this rig.. lol.. cause im gonna resleeve another with the new heatshrinks..

btw bro, you finished with the rejector tool yet?.. hahaha...

I am finished with it, but I broke it, so I am gonna buy you another tool. I might be placing orders from sidewinders and ppc on my own since I need to finish my project fast, so I will grab a couple of those pin removal tools too.
