yeah should be using optical out ... Cause i don't want loss in quality .... At least can make use me the decoder in the set :-)

Do note that when you use optical connection, the sound will have a bit of delay. Meaning when you start a song from total silence the first 1/2 a second of the song won't be projected by the speakers. But that might depend on the age of your soundcard and your optical cables. Personally I prefer coaxial.

yeah ... was doing some research just now ... coaxial is better ... cause gives a warmer sound ... and doesn't break so easily ... but coaxial can use 5.1 ? cause im going to invest in a blueray drive soon ...

You will have to use 5.1 virtualization such as the Dolby Digital ProLogic II decoding mode in the Z-5500 or use Dolby Digital Live/DTS interactive digital encoding mode on your soundcard. But from what I heard, using 5.1 virtualization encoding on your soundcard for prolong periods will burn out the decoder on the Z-5500. When that happens, your Z-5500 will no longer decode any digital inputs. Someone who helped my get my Z-5500 had to come to my house to confirm that his control pod was dead after he left the soundcard digital output on Dolby Digital Live for too long.

So, does this mean i just use the Coaxial Cable from my on board soundcard ? cause i cannot afford for my Z5500 to spoil ! haha ... i think the only good point about optical is that there is not static and noise interference ..

Coaxial and optical both will have this problem. Just try not to use any 5.1 virtualization mode on your soundcard as much as possible.

wahh..i have been using that mode when i listen using ipod leh..
