Hi guys, just a simple log of what I'm doing to my rig. Here are the parts:

DFI P45-T2RS Plus
Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550
4 x 2GB Team Xtreem Dark PC2-6400
2 x GeCube 4770
1 x WD Velociraptor 300GB
2 x Seagate 7200.12 500GB
Corsair HX620
Lian Li PC A05B

Most of the parts were acquired over the last few months but I needed to lap my TRUE120 so I figured I might as well take some pictures as well. Its still a work in progress, waiting for some parts to arrive so I can finish up, but here it is in its half completed state

I didn't have a tripod with me today so everything is hand held - excuse the blur images

Getting ready to lap the TRUE120.

Thanks to the magic of the internet - DONE!

Bleach contains Sodium Hypochlorite which is a base (alkaline) that will react with Aluminum Oxide to form a salt soluble in water.

The "washer mod" to improve mounting pressure

Scythe S-Flex G. One of the few to be used, this one for rear intake.

Rear cable management and fingerprints!

Small hole cut for cable management with a dremel. Its not visible - so I didn't bother to clean up

Powering it up, illuminated by hidden LEDs at the bottom.

For the noisy S-Flex Gs - Scythe Kazemaster ACE

Soundmat and Radgrillz finally here!

Decided to spend a few minutes sleeving my top panel fans. Xigmatek 120mm white LED fans

Fans fitted on top.

Radgrillz

Addition to the family.

Decided to do away with single wire sleeving, makes the rig look too cluttered when the look I'm going for is a clean look.

Laying the soundmat... Space at the front is for the PSU so ventilation can't be blocked... Not taped down yet, looks like I got all the dimensions right though! Case feet pokes through the bottom of the case.... Have to do something about that later so my soundmat doesn't bulges at weird places. Replaced the PCI slot covers with black thumbscrews as well, bit hard to see in the picture though

Some more work in progress shots

Mounting the components again after laying soundmat

More stuff mounted... The hard drives are eventually replaced but more on that at the end of this

You know how some people have their builds perfect even in the hidden areas where everything is REALLY organized? That someone is not me.

But but, you didn't unisleeve your PSU Someone wants to do it for me?

Same shot but powered on, illumination provided by top fans and a LED strip at the top... Forgot to take a picture of that. Anyway 2 out of 3 of the Xigmatek fans... So back to the YL white LEDs for now :O

And finally a newly arrived addition

bro, the small hole, better to tape it or use a c lining.. the sharp edges will cut the sleeving.. just a precaution..
