A little "something" I did for my video card Thom Jul 21st, 09, 11:25 AM #1 (permalink)
Hope you all enjoy it as much as i did when i did this!

First, cut out the holes for the DVI slots.

Then drilling of the holes for the hex-nuts screws and the s-video output. (was initially hesitating to drill the big hole since i dont use it anyway but thought i remain on the original design)

Filed smooth, sand down and respray black

Wonderful use of the metal mesh.

Is it easily cut?
Dremel?
The straight lines done on the mesh are great.
Wish you posted before I did my own air filter :-(

not hard to cut, i used a small flat wirecutter to cut out a small hole from the middle first before working to shape and flatness. (see 2nd pic)

its really difficult to clamp the item down even with 2 piece of wood at the side so dremel was really out for me. besides, i think over clamp would have make the mesh shorter ^^;
