Hi guys,

Out of nowhere, I suddenly have the urge of going water on my rig and I grabbed the chance since we have our very own local online watercooling store from Sabe aka Ken so why not?
I don't need to wait for weeks by ordering online anymore. Yes, this is my first custom water-cooling setup and project log and It's not any highly expensive kind of setting.

Mishap..!!! Slight Delay!

Ok guys, What I meant by delay is due to some problem with my radiator. Found it leaking after I did the leak-test.

Luckily I switched off the power in time and all the coolant gushed out from the bottom of the radiator.

WT@#$%.. My 2 brothers came to rescue and cleaned up the whole mess... Haha...!!!

The project is currently on hold and trying to rectify the radiator issue. Most likely gonna get a new one.. likely from Ken again. Haiz.. thru and forth his place 3 times liao... Jialat..

Anyways.. Enough talking of all these.. Time to post the pictures till where I stopped.

The pictures will be posted in 2 parts... from my Air-cooled rig (Before) to (Current) Water-cooling....





Please do not take into consideration of the 4890... The picture was taken when I first bought all the stuffs before the WC parts... I lazy to take the pictures again...

Are you going WC or air cooling? It's confusing to see the different things in the same worklog.

Sad to hear that your rad leaked. IMO, it's rare and frankly the first time I've heard of it. Especially the water "gushing" out part... WC is not difficult but it requires way more planning ahead, because the different parts will be interlinked.

are you going to wc your gpus as well? since i'm a sucker for multi-gpu setup... i'd say go for the xfire! not unless you've got another 285 somewhere... then go green! sli has been more kind to me in terms of setting up (software-wise); so i'm a bit partial to nvidia camp on this one.
as for the rad, post pics of the bad rad. could be the 'bleeding' screw's washer being spoilt?

WCing the gpus not at the moment manz... Gotta get the rad first and then make sure the CPU loop is up first before planning further.. Step by step bah... If I were to cool the GPUs most likely like what u suggest - Crossfire. But won't be on these 4870s... I'm waiting for the price of 5870 to be more justifiable...

Regarding the Rad, I dun get what you mean... V chim leh Bleeding Screws Washer? Can you kindly explain to me? Sorry for my noobish questions..

Bro, no pak keh leh.. Me "hiong" all the way one.. ask afew ppl is what I would suggest.. People like Bianco, spyboy48, Sabe(Ken), Froze, PissingIntel, Darkblazez, Nashaz - All WC masters with their awesome log.

Each time I see their log, I kena inspired, bo tai bo chi poisoned myself and out of sudden within 3 days of checking out the parts I hiong liao... My lesson learnt... Do your research is what I can say..
