Twinhead will be officially releasing this UMPC in April08.For the past week the Twinhead C8 was put on display for at AAAs 4th floor, but as of this week it is no longer there now. I regret not taking fotos last week and I have been following this lead with Twinhead Singapore..
If you checked with the Twinhead website you will note that the C8 is not even listed. However forum sources have noted it has been selling in Malaysia for the past month...

It is apparent that many of you may criticize the AMD CPU vs Asus Eee's Intel Celeron CPU but few know that the AMD Geode runs only at 1watt as opposed to 7watts by the Intel Celeron..
I've used the Raon Everun UMPC which uses the same CPU as the C8 and I was just amazed with its battery life under XP..It lasted me over 5hrs runtime with 50% power settings..
I am looking forward to testing the C8 out fully when it is launched..BTW the Twinhead service centre is conveniently only next door to SLS..Burlington Square..home to VRZone...
