[Warranty]
Warranty till August 2011 (or around there, i can confirm by calling them when u express interest to buy it) which means more than 1 year le...
[Condition]
Good condition working perfectly.
[Notes]
I can sell the bay alone but you must understand this point:
Buffalo stores the OS on the drives itself. That means the OS is on my raid 5 samsung drives right now. if i sell u without the drives, then u get a bricked unit. u can then install your own drives and load the firmware via a method called tftp (recommended for tech-savy), tutorial to do this is on their forums. the secondary method (recommended for normal-savy) is to bring the unit to their service centre in city with your drives and ask them to help u install the OS on your drives, its free because u are under warranty. Of course the best method is to just buy my drives because they have already been initialised to raid 5 (took 24 hrs).
the drives are 4 X 1TB samsung f3 drives. the drive's warranty ends july 2014, thats more than 3 years from now. (so u can treat it as brand new, lol)
if someone takes the bay alone, then i probably will not sell the drives because i need them.
