Specs is 6MB/Sec Read and 3MB/Sec Write. All drives come in Kingston's original packing with instruction leaflet.

Price is S$36 each. At this point of time, take it as no warranty (even thou stated on box '5yr' and 'Register online'). Refer to the following pics for details.

in fact i never try register yet, but there will be warranty as their serial number was in kingston's database.

Convergent won't be covering it I think.

Hmm this 4GB part looks very familiar to what LOW YAT PLAZA in KL is selling for approximately SGD$23 each... let me dig up a recent thread...

Convergent don't cover warranty for kingston thumbdrives due to some patent issue......read it over convergent service counter.

can't say much for the warranty coverage.

as for the 'what LOW YAT PLAZA in KL' selling SGD$23, it MAYBE true, but KL is approximately 300km away from SG. all buyers (including u) are ENCOURAGED to exercise their 'best-deals-bargaining-skills' to the fullest before buying these 4gb Kingston thumb drives, as i CANNOT be blamed if u managed to buy them cheaper in the 'what LOW YAT PLAZA in KL' or Timbuktu ..

the intend of this post is to sell 4gb Kingston thumb drives, i am not forcing anyone to buy from me. pls~ ..

hmm, not mentioned of anything on kingston web. so in order to save all the 'arguments' let me just rephrase my first post.

from this date / time stated in this post, we take it as there is no local warranty.

and since local warranty, the price is @ S$36 each. and i left only 4pcs, want more also must wait. (maybe 'wherehouse' selling SGD23 .. pls check with him accordingly)

The main intention of my post was to inform prospective buyers that Convergent is UNLIKELY to cover warranty here in SIN regardless of the marking on the package and the serial number notwithstanding.

No malice, but as for the ability to be able to force people to buy from you, I'd really hope to have such powers too.

But it's interesting to see a revision in your price from $40 to $36 (-10%) from yesterday and that may attract more buyers cos of "pricing reductions".
