User Experience
Comfort
nothing beats having an in ear earphones with their cables looped around your ears!

Normal earphones dangles out, but this loops around your ears. This minimizes the wires movement sound when you are walking.

On top of that, the clip serves as a superb purpose in holding your wires close to your shirt. Which means no longer getting your wires hooked onto items / doors. no more of sound disturbances of wire movement when you are running after the bus! Very user-oriented piece of earphones in terms of comfort. a 10/10 for it!

Sound
If you are looking for a pair of earphones that can give you a $100-$200 sound, this pair of PL-50 will definitely be your choice.

Why?

You can never get such clarity from a $80 earphones in market now. Try investing in a $80 Sony or Creative earphones... they emphasize on the bass, and does not take much care into the clarity. Soundmagic PL-50 takes care of not just the bass, but also the vocals.

Bass is wonderfully clean. You will not feel your ears thud when the bass gets loud. But rather a neat note and a nice touch of 'umph' that signatures the actual controlled performance of this IEM.

Overall clarity is awesome. You can never get a $80 earphones that can clearly stress the importance of vocals. Plugged in together with my Go-Vibe Magnum, the earphones unmistakably outperforms any earphones in the market ranging from $150~$250.

Handling of the earphones
earphones are hard to keep. This is because of the way it is structured. Good thing that they gives you a hard casing to protect your earphones. You can never see an $80 earphones that gives u so much accessories so that you can protect your earphones in such a holistic bundle pack.

The sets have arrived. Pictures will be uploaded soon.

First Hour
I guess no need to say, anyone who receive this earphones will simply be awed by the sound. Instead of the muddy sound that PL30 gives, the PL50 gives u a super clear sound stage, plus an additional touch of the mids. Superb for people who likes mids.

Also, soundmagic has did some reflection on their build of earphones now. Instead of having their wires loosely dangled on your ear (like what happened to PL30s, PL50 has included a cable guide so that it can guide the wires around your ears nicely. Perfect fit for anyone who wants to go jogging with it, because it will not drop out!!

400th Hour
Just collected my amp from Jaben, with music playing from my computer 24/7, so approximately 400-500th hour. One word: AWESOME.

You can never get to buy such earphones at such prices. If you want me to compare, its a kind of its own probably. You will never hear bass that is so beautifully accented, sound stage so perfectly structured so that you feel as though you are sitting right in the middle of the concert hall.

Of course, if you want to ask me "eh bro, compare to westone 3 u think this one better?"

c'mon man, this earphones only 80bucks, u want to compare to 400~600bucks earphones, dream on! haha, of course this set has its limitation. Comfort wise i'd give it a little bit not as comfy as westone can give you. But sound wise, i will rather spend 80bucks on this rather than a few hundred dollars UNLESS i'm a serious audiophile.

Investment wise? I think PL50 is worth investing on if you just want a good music company on your train ride. Just don't be like me, getting shocked over dog bark in train can already.

For other reviews, i'll be waiting for you to get one and put in more!!

that one i dunno, depending on how the market goes. If this set is not selling as fast as it should be, i will not be bringing them in anyways.

If ever there is a 2nd batch, it will be around 70USD unless stated otherwise. So if u want a cheap set, do get them before it runs out on my side!

Just a question.. is it navy blue or black? Pictures seems to suggest some bluish colour.
