Hi Guys,

Do we need the caller ID that Starhub provide? lets say i will not have the caller ID plan, but with the smartphone that i am going to buy (Galaxy S II) does it going to be really impact to my Samsung? i mean i will see no name appear in my phone display?

no caller ID mean when people call you, you don't see any number or name appear...

What i would like to ask is, whether is it necessarily if we use smartphone? will it still going to be appear if we didn't subscribe for caller ID?

If no caller id, whoever calls you will be listed as unknown on the phone.

If you have tagged profile photos/customised ringtones to individual contacts, obviously that particular feature will not work without caller ID.

Same goes for any custom apps for blocking of selected numbers.
