Hi all,

Recently picked up badminton and have been playing quite regularly. Skills very nub at the moment but really enjoy playing the sport.
As my dad used to be quite a good badminton player during his prime as he won many tournaments and cups etc, now thinking of asking him to sorta teach/coach me.
But he has no racket so I'm giving him mine and getting a new one.
My previous one cost around $90+ with restring and grip but after using for quite sometime, I find it kinda heavy and hard to use. Just feels weird as compared to friends'.

Any recommendations as to which brand/model to get? Budget around $150. And also, where to buy?

Best way to choose the right racket is to know what kind of player are you and also personally test them if possible.

Hmmm like how do I go about bro?
I like really light rackets. I'm currently working on my wrist strength. All this while I have been using arm strength to hit the shuttlecock instead of wrist strength. So now I'm working on that.

Among the many badminton racket brands out there, whats the best brand? And any good model that falls around my budget?

Branding is just an assurance and name.

I believe in every brand,they will be a racket suitable for our type of play.

U can try the Head Metallix 4000.Its the racket used by current world number 2 ZHou Min ladies singles and I`m selling at $79 with new string and cover.

Haha thanks bro. Went down to queensway and ended up buying a Proace Titanium Dream. After using it, its kinda too light for me and feels weird but after a while, I sorta get used to it and its actually quite ok haha. Thanks!
