if you guys are wondering how to do a wheelie on a mtb,

drop both gears to the lowest , ie, 1-1 pull the handle bar and pedal at the same time. and once its up control the pedal speed. too much u fall on your ass, too little and the front will hit the ground.. personal record was a wheelie for was ~5 seconds of *air time*

front brakes are more effective as rear brakes. however, dont juz jam your front brakes as u may fly infront..

jaming rear brakes will allow u to *drift* but, remember your CG..

Hi, I wonder if someone can help me.
My current RST 460 Suspension Fork no longer works like it used to.
Feels like the spring or whatever inside died. What should I do?
Is it repairable? Thanks in advance!

That's an elastomer fork right? Unless they changed the internals since the last time I was using a RST 461 fork.. hehe. Probably the elastomer dried up and can't absorb shock anymore. Best bet is probably to get a new fork. If you're on a budget, can source out good second hand forks.

Actually, the bike might be heavier since tubeless tyres weigh a good deal more than those that need tubes. A good tubed tyre might weigh around 300-450g + 100g tube, that works out to be 550g max. A tubeless tyre is about 600g+ iirc..
The advantage of tubeless is that you can run really low pressures and not worry about snakebite punctures.

Just got my bicycle stolen. Parked at Potong Pasir MRT at 7am, came back at 5pm and it's gone. I thought I had a pretty strong chain - it was a Viro Lock couple with a chain that cost about S$27. Not a cheap $5 bike lock.

Guess it's not strong enough. Does anyone know where I can purchase a strong Kryptonite U Lock in Singapore.

Can anyone recommend a particular lock and perhaps a shop

Or do I have to import it from Amazon or the US.
