So this Amazon Kindle Fire obviously wasn't meant for singapore but I got myself a kindle fire recently because i wanted a tablet where i can surf the internet with wifi, purchase ebooks from their webstore and their magazine subscription all at a cheaper price than the ipad etc (im still a student).
There's some question i need you guys to help answer:

1)Anybody had magazine subscription with amazon on your device? How do i go about purchasing the magazine subscription from their amazon store and sending it to my device? Do i need to use VPN for this? I thought of manually transferring all downloaded content to the device via the USB cable as i heard from many suggesting that it is cumbersome to download directly from their app store as it is subjected to amazon's restriction.

2) when you purchase giftcard from their webstore 'local credit card', are they referring to their local credit card only or can i still use my DBS black visa debit card?

3) Have anyone used their broswer to surf the internet with wifi in singapore? Any problems occured?
