Hybrid booster is built in to the BIOS, its just ASROCK's name for their poor overclocking support to make it sound great

as for your oc, 2.9ghz is 290FSB x 10 multi, your E6600 is 9 multi. I find when the board does this to me it is because oc fails, and boot failure guard screws something up. Lower the FSB and try again. Read the first 4 or 5 pages of this thread I think someone posted a whole list of BIOS options.

oop thought 775dual-vsta bios. might be vcore. others have got 315FSB with e4300 no vcore raise but every chip is different

Hello, i too have a 1950pro pcie card. The problem is: at FSB 300 the system is orthos stable but the pcie card its not unless i set pcie at 117 (wich you said previously that may be dangerous). Wich BIOS do you have? what version (mine is 2.6). Thank you.

edit: how did you get to 675core clock on the 1950? vmod? i can get only 635/1660 on mine.

edit2: i tried with pcie sync. (which puts pcie=112) and black screen and no boot. Wich is bizarre, becouse if i set pcie async. with pcie=112 it works...

heya folks well im trying to figure out why i got those messurment
on the Vtt when i check the resitance i have a reading of 953
& on the agp i have a reading of 1980 boths vtt & agp none vmod yet
im wondering if i have my ground placed at the right place
Mallet says Resistace was measured relative to ground. It should read 990ohms to ground, from the side of the resistor closest to the IC.
so my next question is where the ground is connected i did my mesurment connecting the ground to one of those holes around the motherboard
if i look at the picture you show on page 1 looks like my resistence have a number on it & your pic doesn't show any number on the resistance
maybe a new revision ?
finally when you take the voltage mesurment on the vtt 1.45volts & agp 1.7volts where the ground is connected ?

Thx So far i can do 300fsb but i cant go higher Sata wont post at the boot up
