Would like to know any good 40mm out there in SLS ?

Actually you can RMA the fan.

I don't think TS actually meant that the fan is faulty. For a 40mm fan to cool a Xeon, it's got to be a loud one for sure I think.

Got loads of 40mm fans. but NOT SLS. All in SLT. just go 3rd floor (most) or basement (some) look.... Y.S. Tech very good 40mm fans. Scythe also sells 40mm super silent fans. Got Delta & other brands in SLT just look around.

If you want lower noise with the same or better air flow rate, the best way is to change to bigger fan with lower speed.

Don't have so small size one.
But I think you can do a simple mob yourself. Depend on you fan mounting, most can settle with cable tie alone.
