Gary, I think that chap may be commenting that you don't run the shop like a business man due to punctuality issue.

To align your customers' expectations, why don't you just state your official operating hours from 1pm instead? So people won't KPKB and you get buffer in case you're caught up with some urgent personal affairs.

Give it a thought and up for a friendly and helpful dude.
