How do you normally deal with XL buyers? SmallWalrus Jun 1st, 11, 05:34 PM #1

Just got an offer for an item below that was significantly below my asking price, so just pulled out my calculator, did the sums a little and can't do. Instead offered him the usual reduced price that I generally do for people who ask. Instead he replied back and stood firm by his original offer, and added that it is either him getting it at his price today, or he can wait a couple weeks and get it in himself.

To be honest, I wanted to reply back and tell him to get stuffed, but decided against it. It will cost me 3 cents! Plus I know what the market will bear, so it is no loss to me anyway, but have you guys ever encountered case like these? What do you normally do?

These people are such a waste of my SMS fees.

No point getting worked up over it. Business is business. You've given your best offer, he rejected it then its time to move on.

if price offered is absurd, i will be sarcastic and move on.

anyway dun take it so hard. buyers will always try to buy low, sellers always try to sell high.
