Went SLS w my bf in search for a PS3 console & a speaker on 1 Nov 09. Chanced upon this shop as we saw quite a number of customers inside browsing. Thinking that it was harmless since there were so many customers we went and started browsing through the stuff & found what we wanted. A sales person named David served us and told him what we were looking for which is a new PS3 console & a speaker. Note that we mentioned NEW to this David.
Managed to test the console & the speakers upon request. When we were about to make payment, David suggested additional accessories which were not needed but he hard selling and pestering us to show him some support. We kept rejecting his offers but he continued to push his luck with us. In order to end this tussle, we ended up buying that additional accessories like more PS3 games, additional controller & a cooling fan.
When we got home, we tried to set up the stuff. To our greatest horror, the packaging of the cooling fan has been cut open. Tried plugging in e fan to the console, realised something was amiss.... e fan was actually dangling on 1 side...checked the fan...e clip has broke off!!! No wonder he was pushing this to us….:
Major problem occured when my bf tried to register for the warranty. He keep facing "D.O.P Invalid" error upon submission. He decided to change the dates but the problem still persist. In the end he decided to check with Sony. Upon providing the officer with the relevant information, he got a shock of her life....the console has been registered under "Mr Tang" & the warranty has expired more than 3 months ago. Not knowing what to do, she seek the help from the Sony officer which advise her to seek help from CASE.
Tried calling up the shop but NO 1 picks up the call. Feel so cheated!!!
