hmmm... so how much do you expect yourself to be paying during that long weekend. for the airticket i mean..

eh.. if I take a premium airline like SQ or MH, I expect to pay $150-200 for the airticket (assuming 2 or more pax so we can get more discounts)

SQ or MH for $150-$200 before or after tax? that would add up to alot... say $150 for ticket + $130 for taxes, it will add up to about $280 for airfare alone, right?

No, I know you can get airfares to certain parts of Malaysia for $200 with tax inclusive for two to go on SQ but....

I just realise the airlines dont fly to Genting ^_^ No airport there?

Both SQ and even MH dont have flights to "Genting" lol

Think I wont want to go there then. My other choices are Penang, Langkawi or, outside Malaysia, Bangkok.

there isn't any fare on SQ and MH to any part of M'sia for $200 including tax.. for budget carrier, maybe you can get something like that. Promo fares for SQ to KL is $168 now if i am not wrong but it exclude tax of about $130... if you can get anything that is $200 on SQ including tax, show me, i would really just book it and go...

and if i am not wrong, SQ and MI fly to KL. Places like langkawi,penang, only MI fly there, SQ dun fly there...

I'm quite certain a few weeks ago, I saw a 2-to-go SIN-KL SQ fare for S$197, tax inclusive.

And yeah, I should have realised SQ will also fly to major hubs to Masia, being a foreign carrier to them. But that's okay, I'm indifferent when it comes to SQ or MH.

Okay, so Genting is out for me. To troubleseome to transfer around from flight to bus. If you'd want to only go there, dont think I can join you dude, sorry.

But if you're considering going somewhere else like Penang, then feel free to drop me a messge

For Penang, I just checked the fares again. Its S$309 on Economy (2 to go, W Class I think). I wont mind going on Business Class either if the other party's interested (about S$600+ per pax). Bladdy short flight but you can use the Silverkris Lounges for the whole day before the flight
