I missed langkawi a lot and therefore here i come entering the contest.

Travel Period: 15.06.09 – 17.06.09

In group of 3, we started our trip to Langkawi

Day 1:
Taking morning flight from SG to Langkawi


Reaching Langkawi, view from the plane... cool


Nice and clean airport


Upon reaching, immediately we got into a cab and straight to our resort - Berjaya Langakwi beach resort
Side note here: taxi counter is located at the airport, price seem to be fixed. Even though it is fixed, it is still at an affordable price


And here's our room, premium junior chalet on water
we spent about SGD$706 for 2 nights stay
it might be a bit expensive but for the view and the services provided by the resort, i think it really worth

Throughout the 2 nights we have in the chalet, we are surround by the beautiful music made by the sea wave. we slept soundly and dream sweetly

Day 2:

Early in the morning we had breakfast by the sea
secretly took a pic of this old couple... love the mood


We are all excited about the cable ride that we have planned long ago
since we have heard lots of good review about it
and in the end, here's what we have got


I wish i can go back there again to have the ride... arghhh

And in the end, we went to the seven wells water fall

the walk up to the seven wells is really very steep and long


we took some rest while we can


Finally we reach the seven wells



water there was cool and clear


since i'm not able to take the cable ride, i shall take some photos instead


from the top, we went down all the way to see the waterfalls

After the visit, we walk to Oriental Village where the cable car ride is


a beautiful man made village, yet not fully open yet


and we walk back slowly to our resort, for sun bathing



Due to laziness, we decided to have our 2nd night dinner @ the breakfast area... quite romatic

Day 3 (the last day)

Woke up early to see the sun rise


Revisit the beach again before we check out
managed to walk to the other side of the beach due to low tide


sand over at the other side is rough


how we wish we can have more time in langkawi


dont you think the hill/island look like a heart sunk into the sea


find this cafe+bar at the other side of the beach


Time to say good bye !

best time to visit is from November to March.

Even though we went during the wet season, we are lucky that it only rain in the night and during our first night while we we sound alseep...

Nope, we didn't go for any island hopping.
This is our first time there and we didnt really research alot and just fly over there

but this also give us a chance to revisit langkawi again... heehee

Hi, actually i think island hopping is nothing. it's something that i won't want to go again. i recommend u to go for the snorkeling. it's quite worth it. i did some write up on my langkawi trip you can take a look. actually cable car also not very nice. just high up. not super high up too. =)
