Hi guys , would like to ask those who have went to hokkaido before whether it is advisable to go on a free N Easy trip there or should we actually go with a tour ?

Would it actually be a lot cheaper if it is free N easy ?

And i would be planning to go in the December, which is a winter season.

Would the hot spring still exist in winter lol ? it is so cold.

cheaper???...to me Free and Easy its more of time flexibility.. i dun think its cheaper as you have to be doing the planning all yourself.. from the hotels down to the transportation to the sights... etc....

i will be in Hokkaido from 29 Nov till 6 dec.. flying in from Osaka .. and back again to Osaka...overall trip will be from 18 Nov till 9 Dec.. when i return back home...

and it will be beginning of winter in Hokkaido when i am there.. but still not the peak ski season yet... peak ski season starts from sometime on the 12 Dec...

yes.. the snow storm can be pretty nasty.. thats why i planned my hokkaido trip in the beginning.. so its not that bad.. its worst in Jan Feb period...
