Day 1

Got to the airport at 4 am to catch NW20 to Tokyo....



Got bored on plane...8 hrs flight!!






Finally reached Narita....checked in Hotel and went to explore around Eon Sun for food!!!






Followed by shopping!!

Day 2

Went to the domestic airport to catch internal flight to Sapporo




The talented bus driver drew the route that we were going to explore for next few days..



Went to visit the Ainu Museum and hooted Hokkaido Crab after that!!Sweet and fleshy....mmmmmmmmmm






It actually started snowing as we just left the museum...after the crab feast...went to Hell's Valley to smell sulphur...





After which dinner again then checked into hotel...sleeping on futons...

Day 3

Started the day with a samurai fight before entering the "theme park"







Stage play where they invite the audience to take part and a photo with some of the cast...





Was desperate for some ice kachang...


To the bear ranch next and scenic Lake Toya...







The view from the room....scenic view!!! Scallops...BIG!!!Hokkaido is a must go for seafood lovers~~




Night walk after dinner...and we even saw Kindaichi's shop!!

Day 4

B'fast at hotel restaurant facing the sea!!! Darn good view to enjoy while makaning....



After breakfast.....went to this vast area for snowmobile but after seeing the price, decided to play with snow sled and make the 1st snowman of my entire life...










Check in to the Ski Hotel after that for some rest....following by dinner...big crabs for dinner again...look at the size of the claw!!




Some exquisite stuff seen during the after dinner shopping...

Day 5

If only I can wake up to such a view every morning....




Our Hokkaido tour guide and to Otaru we go!! Explore the old town, the famous steam clock tower and the glass for which Otaru is famous for...not forgetting a photo with the humble yet talented coach driver







Had lunch before exploring further...they even sold bear and deer meat?!?!










On next to the White Lover chocolate factory and then for some Kobe beef!! The beef even comes with a cert...





Night time exploring of the city area after checking into the 5 star hotel..looks spacious and atas....

I can never get tired of what Hokkaido offers every morning...exploring further in the city...the old City Hall and the famous TV tower...

Flew back to Tokyo on Day 6 night before our flight back to S'pore on Day 7...Did some exploring of Narita area in the morning before taking the late afternoon flight









And some of the hoots from Japan...mostly food...

snowed on day 2....just after I left the Ainu Village...I started to see snowflakes coming down... So it's actually arnd 2nd week of Dec that it started snowing in Hokkaido....

Jeans I brought 2 pairs...I wore thermal wear inside....must wear or else there freeze!!!

2.6k per pax..flew by NWA...service was average...but the 8 hours flight nearly killed me...
