Which sound card should I get? Hurricaneboi Nov 1st, 06, 09:55 PM #1 (permalink)
hey guys, I've been using onboard sound from the asus P5B for quite some time now. It has SoundMax HD audio in it and till now it's working fine but I wanna get a sound card for a better gaming experience. Any to recc? like best bang for buck and stuff. I dun need something that will throw me off my chair, but something that will give me a more immersive experience. Looking at smth from Creative. Right now looking at Creative X-Fi XtremeMusic....

any comments are appreciated! thanks!

hey thanks a lot guys. the Xtreme gamer fatality looks good to me. will consider that. And what is x-ram? just improves performance right? so that com won't lag due to processing the high quality sound from the games?
