Help! Com restarts when playing BF2142! Hurricaneboi Apr 26th, 07, 05:18 PM #1 (permalink)
Hi, I've never had this problem before and I dunno if anyone else here has.

After I double click the server and its at the loading screen, my com restarts. This has been happening three or four times already.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled BF2142 and patched it to the latest version 1.25, but the problem still persists.

I managed to pinpoint the time where my com restarted. It restarts when its at the 'optimizing shaders' part of loading.

Does anyone have a remedy to the problem? thanks!

nope. it just restarts normally.

FYI, this didn't happen when I just installed 1.25. it was okay, till now when it suddenly started restarting at the load screen.

I just installed and ran RivaTuner to check my driver version, but the box where the driver details were supposed to be is blank, and it says 'Detonator II detected'...what does that mean?

Try the older version of forceware. Could the problem lies with driver
