Hi, everyone, my CPU kept restarting when I surf net, run a program or even when I leave it alone. I have sent it back to my office technician for rectification but he was unable to find any problem with it after I left it there for a week. He told me that he left it on for 1 week and the CPU did not restart at all. I brought the CPU to my bro in-law and the CPU did not restart at all at his place. Anyone encountered this problem before?

Maybe you have power surge at home, connect ur pc to an UPS ..and see if have the same problem

I think you mean "PC" instead of "CPU". Anyway, like what Droiyan said, it could be power surges.

anyway i have 2 PC at home ...only 1 PC has this problem.

hmm .. check if its CPU overheatting , hm.. check also if it happens in safe mode

if it happens in safe mode.. i guess reformatting of your pc is the way

but if it happens again aftr reformatting

check ur CPU fan for dirt
