how does this set up sound?

advise on a setup i came up with for a buddy of mine

    intel i5-2500k + GIGABYTE Z68MA-D2H $473
    Kingston valueram 4gb x 2 $58
    Andyson 530W Silent $68
    Seagate 500gb 7200 rpm 16MB $109
Graphic Intel HD 3000 - onboard

    total $708
casing and dvd rom will be reused.
key point of this build - affordable yet easy to upgrade without replacing components

what do you guys think about this setup?
with this mobo, am i able to make use of intel3000 to run 1920 x 1000 resolution?
    thanks.
    regards,
    tok

Must get the 2500K? Seems like some other lower end SB CPU would fit this build idea better.

2500k comes with intel 3000. im thinking since he doesnt need a graphic card, intelhd 3000 is the best integrated graphic as of now. in the future if he wanna game, get a good card, a new hsf, oc and play!
    what do you think?

current purpose, budget yet future proof.
when user got enough cash, will be playing e.g. BF3 and D3, with oc.

Anyway just a side comment; I don't really trust Andyson (Just my opinion). If you can get a seasonic or similar quality PSU. Cheapest one right now is probably the Seasonic S12II 520W for 80+$SGD.

Good to go.... even on tight budget at least go for FSP gold series PSU.

Personally I prefer Seasonic PSU more!

When more budget comes in (alot I mean)

    A SSD and a 560ti or 660ti will be a good upgrade!

Hitachi is quite reliable, but if you get WD black you get 5 years warranty compared to hitachi's 3.
