Gigabyte 7870 Help zeniith May 1st, 12, 11:03 AM #1

Sometimes when I playing games will have a big rectangular orange box flicker for like 1-2 frames, and abit annoying. Is it the driver issue or the card? Bought it only last week.

it's damn good. ok, update ur drivers and games. if updated... try downgrading drivers abit or look on the internet to see if thr's anyone with the same problem.

eh, usually pple do furmark not as a benchmark. usually they run it until they r satisfied. most probs surface ard 15 mins+ on running furmark non-stop

oh.. good to hear that. so far i've only found one other person that had the same problems, and he said it's highly due to the driver. both 12.4(latest) and 12.3 have the same problems.

just ran furmark for 1hour and no such errors, so i guess it's due to the driver's compatibility with the game?

okay, now sometimes at black parts of the screen there will be blue dots flickering around. but when i restart my monitor the problem goes away, and it seems the coloured boxes are only appearing with league of legends, tried bf3 and other more graphic intensive and there isn't such issues.
should i rma the card or is it the problem with my monitor? since i've used it for like 4-5 years while the gpu is new. thanks in advance.

it sounds alive and ok though. try a new driver when it comes out.
