Errr...can you copy the detailed specs of the 2 desktop pcs and post it here. Or at least give us a link, it'll save us time trying to find the model over the net. Thanks.

The above mentioned computer is definitely meant for office applications only and simple movie watching.

Since only 1GB of ram is supplied, you'll need to get another 1GB stick or 2 X 512Mb ram sticks. Having less than 2GB Ram on a Vista operating system is seriously not recommended.

That computer also doesn't come with a grapics card; thats an on board graphics chip which isn't good at rendering 3D images. You will not be able to play new graphics-intensive game titles, even quite a few old graphics-intensive game titles will suffer. But if you dont game, its okay.

You might need to get another Harddisk, recommended hardisk space for Vista is about 320GB, but in my opinion, its not enough. All in all, get a min. total hard disk capacity of 500GB. So in other words, all you need to do is buy an extra 250GB drive or 320Gb drive. But thats up to you, you can always buy when you feel you're running out of hard disk capacity, so theres no rush there.

The rest of the components are okay for normal office application usage.
