no input to monitor revelation Jun 24th, 08, 08:21 PM #1 (permalink)
something's not right with my comp again.. there's no input to the monitor anymore. problem is, i don't know what went wrong. everything was going fine until i connected my USB mouse/keyboard. -.- i know it sounds stupid but thats what actually happened. unless something fried while i plugged the stuff in.
now everything runs but nothing shows up on the monitor. no sound is heard upon pressing the power button though (usually makes a beep upon posting? clarify)
any advice?

yah.. i know.. i was thinking, narrow it down to afew components then i go get those only, instead of getting everything? anyway, i'm guessing the mobo's dead or something coz there's no beep to indicate successful POST. what do u guys think? or could it be the gfx card?

if no sound, POST sequence stop at somewhere, somewhere w/o sound one.

so my suggestion is either ram or your GFX or your PSU.
