Actually bro, why not recommend the Kingston Value RAMs that you have in your kids gaming rig? RAM 2GB DDR2 800 Kingston = $40

A bit wasted to get 4850 then have 1 GB of ram hehe.

Hi all.

Building a new computer but not sure if this the right thread to ask. Someone point me in the right direction please?

For those wondering what is on the horizon even with current existing AM2+ platforms
http://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/sh....php?t=2165712
MSI has confirmed that certain 780G and 790GX chipsets have BIOS supporting the next wave: Deneb yipee!
http://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/sh...ighlight=Deneb
Those unfamiliar with AMD processor architecture would not realise how big a step up it is for AMD to pump 7.5 and 8mb cache in Heka and Deneb core

Yes you can even flash using an AM2 chip ^^ But it is always advised to *not* flash BIOS if everything is working fine so recommended that user flashes with the intention of slotting Deneb asap hehe
