Hi guys i am getting a new PC soon and i am planning to overclock abit as well yea i am open to suggestions

Planned PC:
Gigabyte EP45C-UD3P with Q7300 : $378
PC6400/800MHZ Kingston DDR2 Hyper-X 2GB*2 : $108
XFX 512MB 9800GT DDR3 : $209
Seagate 320GB 16MB 5 years SATA : $80
CMaster RealPower Pro 550W 5 years warrenty : $137
Cooler Master Hyper 212 : $48

The gigabyte mobo only support xfire so shd i get another mobo which support SLI? and the power supply can support my overclocking to what level?

Go for Cosair HX520W PSU , Modular ( $136 )
NZXT Apollo
ASUS M3A - AMD Athlon 64x2 5000 @ 2.93ghz
MSI GTS250 Oc'ed

For $30 more, you can get a 4850 which outperforms the 9800GT by quite a bit. It's a real bang-for-the-buck card which I would really recommend. Besides, if you want more performance, you can always add another 4850 later for wholesome CF goodness.

Also, you might want to consider a more reliable PSU like what zenniz recommended. Coolermaster PSU's aren't really renowned for their quality.

actually what is the difference between nvidia cards and ATI cards? because i only read about nvidia supporting some games and ATI supporting some other games in the past

ATI have alot of bang for buck cards but nvidia have hell lot of games that support it.

I would go for ATI Crossfire but not single card.

No difference. Just go for the most value for money card. Used to be 8800GT and 9600GT but now is 4850.

It doesn't matter, because the 4850 beats everything in it's price range. But if you move up the graphics ladder, then you have to consider the games you'll be playing.

errrr 1 more question, i am planning to overcloak it to like 3.2ghz with the current mobo and E7300/7200. which 1 is a better buy if they are both the same price?
