Mother Board:Asrock Z77 Extreme9
Memory:G.skill ripjaws 2133mhz 4g x 2
HDD:Seagate SATA2 500g

Case:NZXT switch 810
Power Supply:Cooler master pro gold 1000w

1gb is enough for gaming now. having 2gb is for other people who got too much money to throw.

by the way i hear window vista need at least 1gram right??

iirc its 2GB. but from what i heard...
windows vista will auto change to a less demanding mode/theme to lighten the load if your computer cannot take it...

if you are building a rig now...
recommendation is 2Gb

1Gb at least

highly recommend 2 sticks of 1Gbs....dont go buying 4 sticks...as sloting all four rams can decrease your bandwidth and makes your rams run slower eg..DDR400 running at DDR333
