depending on what VGA card you have.......most newer VGA cards will be able to show temps under the Driver options

Go to Display Properties -> Settings -> Advanced -> click on GeForce 6600GT -> temperature settings

if there's no temp settings page in there...most likely your card doesn't have it enabled...download nibitor and den use it to enable your card's sensor...then Flash the new bios in...

keep in mind not all vendors have temp probe but most do

some even have fan control

download a program called riva tuner u can monitor your gpu temps u can over clock with it and best of all it logs your temps on anice laid out graph while its running in the background while u playing games or what ever

Hihi..I juz change my Nividia FX5200's fan...now operating btw 38 - 43 degC ...is it normal??

rive tuner has hardware monitoring .... which can monitor temps.

idle @ any temp below 50 is safe.
load @ any temp below 80 should be safe.

thats for mid to high end...not sure abuot the cheaper 5200/5600
