help needed on my Acer Aspire 5560....


after i install windows 7 and used awhile and im goin to restart my laptop.... nothing appear at the bios screen.. not even the acer logo come out.. i thought was my ram prob... changed ram also the same prob.. i switched off and on again still the same.. but i leave it for long hours never on.. it can boot up... any idea wat prob is going on my laptop? how much i need to repair fo it?

you got spare hdd? try putting it in and see if the system boots. I suspect the bios is not detecting the hdd and refuse to boot for some reason.

Also, is your laptop using SATA HDD? You MIGHT need to update bios first before W7 installation. My Acer Ferrari 4005 is on IDE, so no issues with installation. I know there are some issues with SATA + laptop bios for certain brands.

tried already... still the same...

ur system come with vista? i have try on my Acer 4530 before, original software VHP change to VU 64 bit unable to work.... so switch back to original OS then it work properly..... i think is some problem with the bios....

is your laptop using Nvidia graphics? If it is, then I think I know the problem.
