Does any1 using the P5Q-E have problems trying to run rams at 1066MHz speed on the board?

And maybe more specifically any1 using kingston's 2GB 1066MHz ram stick on this board and having problem trying to set it to 1066MHz?

Sometimes, it doesnt even post so i cannot even do a memtest.

But what I have been researching is that this board has problems running the particular ram. Just want to know if its true.

run it at lower speed lor or bring back to dsitri check the memory

and upgrade bios if necessary

I think you should check manual. The mobo only supports certain speeds. you can either push it up or lower it if it doesnt meet the req.

Lazy to bring back to distri to check... been going there and back for the past few weeks. Anyway, I am running it at lower speeds. I just want to know whether is it becuz of MB problem or incompatibility of the rams with the MB.

MOBO does support up to 1200MHz memory. Just that the rams arent on the QVL list which i believe isnt updated.
