I just purchased and move over to Windows 7 pretty recently and i encountered some problems.

When i tried to play a .avi movie yesterday, it would play for few minutes than hang for a while, would resume after that.

I solved the problem by moving the file to another hard disk of mine.
Does that mean my hard disk is spoilt?

Lets say i got
OS hdd 1 (windows 7)
hdd 2 (used to be in here)
hdd 3 (solved the issue by moving here)

did u do fast forward? i always have the problem... but once i install vlc player everything solved....

Nope i didn't.

Now i try playing music from that harddisk. Same thing happen, it pauses than resume again.

Definately not codec or player problem.

Now i suspect is my hard disk's AHCI mode thing.
