anyone here managed to get their 7200.12 drives to be detected by adaptec 5 series?
i have got 3x500gb ST3500418AS that cant be detected by adaptec 51245.
on the verge of swapping with anyone with 7200.11 500Gb drives.

its a seagate issue.
get hd firmware updated OR change HDs.

anyone here with 7200.12 drives? what's your current firmware? mine's CC37.
i have emailed adaptec for support. but they havent replied.
oddly, my old 3ware can detect the .12 drives even thou they also didnt test .12 drives yet.
sigh. had no idea that adaptec were so problematic.
