Vmware and physical disk kegler Nov 5th, 09, 05:58 PM #1 (permalink)
Maybe i was on the wrong track for searching information regards to vmware esxi and physical disk

I thinking its possible to attach a hdd to each of the vm in the same machine?

Probably i will have 2 hdd in a vm with a domain server, webserver etc on the first hdd and all attached with a 2nd hdd as a secondary drive.

anyone done this before?

HDD2 = New datastore

Create virtual HDD, location set to HDD2

Should be done like this. But then HDD2 will still be formatted using VMFS.
