I'm quite particular to Xigmatek's HDT coolers. Quite effective, and more efficient than a Hyper212+. Though I think AMD stock coolers somehow get really good temps, especially with the stock thermal paste. 37C idle was the best temperature I got with AMD stock cooling. Next best was 38C with the Red Scorpion. For HDT coolers that use the lever-style AMD mounting, I advise you mount the cooler while the mobo is outside of the casing, or the heatpipes may not align properly.

Just my 0.02$.

I'll be removing my mobo for installation anyway. Tried it with my previous rigs, easier to just take the whole thing out.

My current AMD stock cooler runs 35-37'c on idle and 50+ on load. Think probably due to my casing (currently 6 fans). Was considering V8, but kinda overbudget, and people here who sell them 2nd hand don't have AM2/AM3 brackets for it. I'm open for anyone to OC my rig tho (safely please)

:EDIT:

I only see these as options from Xigmetek
- Xigmatek Dark Knight S1283
- Xigmatek Red Scorpion S1283
- Xigmatek Achilles S1284

Others probably were:
- Cooler Master Hyper N520
- OCZ Vendetta 2
- Scythe Mugen 2 SCMG-2000

Thanks bro, but currently using AMD now Cogage Arrow doesn't support AM2/AM3 natively.
