Yeah i'd say get the Core2 too. Spend a bit more to get the coolermaster extreme power 430. Very good value for its quality. If you're getting the intel motherboard, all you need is 533 mhz memory due to the lack of overclocking functions. If you're interested in overclocking, you can get a gigabyte 965-s3(just as good as the ds3 and the same 3 yr warranty) at around the same price.

this one right? Click the image to open in full size.

I am not overclocking... wanted to get the DS3 motherboard, but no 1394, and saw this intel mobo, quite cheap, so..

DDR533 and DDR800 like only 20-30 bucks diff leh, dont you think might as well get the DDR800?

if u don't mind, acbel is quite good. otherwise Aopen or antec trioPower will do fine too.

antec TrioPower comes with 5 years warranty. u can view the information in corbell's website.

Well, running E6300 @ 1.86ghz and memory @ 800mhz is actually slower than running the memory in sync @ 533. but of course, you can get ddr2 800 and run them @ 533 too.

1066 / 4 = 266
533 / 2 = 266
