    EVGA NForce 680i SLI Motherboard Review

    Almost every gaming enthusiast has been waiting for a decent Motherboard chipset offering from NVIDIA supporting the latest performance king, the Intel Core 2 Duo, dual x16 PCI-E lanes for Quad SLI support (Quintessential for the High Def Gamers) and official SLI support. When news of the NF590 SLI Intel Edition surfaced, many of them were psyched to hold out for the motherboards. Originally slated for next year, the NVIDIA C55 MCP was pushed forward a few months in order to secure the enthusiast market. We thus have the 600 series of motherboards from NVIDIA, with the flagship 680i SLI chipset predestined to win back the enthusiasts. We bring you an indepth Review on the EVGA NForce 680i SLI Motherboard!

    Shamino, Awesome review as always!
    Question, would you say this is the best board to go with the QX6700 even though there are FSB problems at high clock speeds even at -90c?
    Oh and the higher multipliers working on 2 out of 4 cores some times. (Bios updates may be?)

    680i or bad axe 2 ? HELP !

    P.S Did TMR pickup QX6700 for me yet ?

    @sham,

    One important question:

    Does this board has rebooting issues as what happen to most of the intel chipset??(cold or warm boot or whatever boot u call it)

    Shamino,

    Did the USB port issue ever get resolved? It seems like a minor issue to most, but it is little quirks like these that concern me whenever building a new machine. Any other weird issues like that?

    I know this is a great board for overclocking and all, but day to day use, I don't want to be troubleshooting little things.

    Thanks!
