If you are looking to buy a webcam that can provide good image resolution, then you might want to check out this Microsoft LifeCam Cinema HD. It claims to be the first consumer webcam to support High Definition 720p (1280x720 resolution) videos at 30fps and comes with 4x digital zoom, noise cancelling microphone and auto focus. It is compatible with Windows Live Messenger, and even Windows 7, Vista and XP operating system.
